Darion’s Prog Rock Band
Garnet was formed by Darion in 2015 when he started attending college; it was and still is composed of Berklee students. The group now exists in the form of a remote recording project, since its members are scattered across the world. Darion writes the music for the band, and there are several albums planned as of now for Garnet’s future - stay tuned!

Trajectory
is an instrumental rock album which showcases the Roli Seaboard, a type of keyboard instrument. The album is out now! You can listen to it now on streaming platforms, but here, just for fun, is a 16-Bit Version of one of the singles from the album: Beyond the Clouds.
Internal Division
is the futuristic story of a man's plight during World War III. A former soldier turned diplomat, he is on a flight to another country on a mission to ease international tension when war breaks out. His plane is shot down over enemy territory, and he is the only survivor.
Our protagonist is captured and made a servant at a nearby town, where his wounds are treated by and older local and his niece. As the war elevates, soldiers come to the town and draft him into their army, and he is forced to fight against his own country.
On his journey, he meets many more unique characters (including Death himself) with different and sometimes opposing life philosophies. Near the end of the story he meets a terrorist he discovers was behind starting the war, who has already encountered these ways of thinking and has been driven insane by their struggle within his mind.
Here are some demos from the album.
Asylum of the Damned
is the story of a man who wakes up strapped to a hospital bed in a windowless room. A tall figure in a black cloak enters and releases our protagonist from his bonds, only to put handcuffs on him and bring him to a hallway full of jail cells, one of which is reserved for him.
Through conversation with the other prisoners, the man (who remembers nothing of who he is or how he got there) discovers what kind of place this is, and the horrors which occur there. The Asylum is a prison for people who believe they are 'cursed' with various mental illnesses. However, the inmates are tortured and told that their sicknesses aren't real.
Will the prisoners survive the brutal conditions of the Asylum, which is surrounded by tales of death and despair? Is there any hope for escape, or are they doomed to forever be hostages to those who do not believe in their ailments?
